Phones developers
are asking for.
Every phone on PocketShare is a host’s spare Android, so the catalog follows what people need to test on. Signed-in developers request the exact model they need, and PocketShare uses the requests to recruit hosts who have it.
THE REQUEST BOARD
Most-requested models.
Models two or more accounts have asked for, most requests first (up to 50). “Listed now” counts phones of that model you can rent today.
The current requests load in your browser.
HOW REQUESTS WORK
What a request does.
- Each account can request a model once; the count is the number of accounts asking.
- The board shows only the model and its counts: never who asked, their notes or Android versions.
- A model one account asked for stays off the board until a second account asks for it too.
- A request is not a reservation and does not guarantee a host will list that model.
- When you request a model you can ask to be emailed when a matching phone can be rented.
